10 years ago yesterday i started college.  who would have guessed my life would be such an epic failure a decade later.  i certainly didnt.  i would like to travel back in time and beat the crap out of my past self for all of the stupid life dooming decisions past self had yet to make.  better get back to my crappy job that sucks away more of my will to live every day.   (and no suggestions about a new job, i think we all know the economy sucks too much for that and unless you are willing to come up with the money for bubbles, board, food, supplements, trimming, massage and vet your comments will not be helpful)

i am so tired.  not entirely sure why, but probably because my weekend was not exactly restful.  A brief summary:

Friday:
Leave work at about 3:30
Ride welsh pony
go home & shower
Corrina's 10th Birthday Party at Fenton's
Eat absurd amount of ice cream
Stop by barn to get Simon's laptop/make sure Beau was alive
Watch Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus - possibly one of the worst movies ever

Saturday
Get up at about 6:45 am
take Bubbles on 40 min walk
take car to vacaville volkswagon
sit and wait for shuttle back to Davis for about an hour
return to davis and steal ankerstar's car to go ride welsh pony
welsh pony was a super star
return car
go with merritt & ankerstar to higby's to buy grain, then subway (for sandwiches) and return to higby's for free shirts
go to barn
sit at picnic table eating sandwich, get informed than Jen is on her way to Davis because Beau is getting put down
soak Bubbles' feet while watching Corrina ride Dudley
wander around with Bubbles for lack of a better way to pass the time
see vmth truck and immediately put Bubbles away (he doesnt need toknow vets do actually bring death)
give Beau hug
put Kai away
Beau gets put down
in an effort to be helpful offer to get scissors/rubber bands for Beau's tail. 
upon braiding tail learn tail is covered in vaseline and bloody urine (and now dirt) this transfers to hands
try to remove vaseline/urine/blood from hands with only wash rack hose, try with kleenex, ankerstar offers soap she has in tack room and then it is finally removed
awkward/sad/nice barn gathering in round pen around Beau (it is very sad watching a 10 yr old cry lying over a dead horse's body fyi)
feet now in excruciating pain.  its about 4:45 and they have been in paddock boots since around 7 am
get driven back to Vacaville to get car.  Spend $500 and its still not fixed.
go home & take shower
begin cooking pizzas/making margarita's for Beau's wake
begin drinking margaritas
watch people play Bananas
forced into playing Disney Scene It!
team wins (we were team awesome, team inebriated was 2nd and team underage was 3rd)
watch lion king (my best guess is no on wanted to mention why this would not be the best movies for the occasion, at least that is my excuse)
go to bed around midnight

Sunday
get up at 6:30 am
take pony on walk
tramatize pony by forgetting that Beau was still in the round pen.  though Bubbles couldnt see him he clearly knew he was there. 
drive to Marin
ride Soli, Kira, Lady and Peter Pan.  Crash fence on Peter Pan.  forget to apply sunscreen.
go to dinner with dad.  eat too much chinese food.
drive back to davis
take pony on another walk.  decide not to soak feet because i still felt bad about the tramatic events of the morning. 
watch Bubbles destroy a jar of mrs. pastures cookies. (turns out he can do this very quickly)
go home & shower
help ankerstar make manicotti
for once show self restraint in not eating manicotti
went to bed sometime around 10:30-11

It was really an exhausting weekend.

Rest in Peace Beau.  You will be missed.  All horses should be so lucky though
